Success at 2011 Nationals !
What an event it was. One Taekwondo had 19 entries at this years Nationals held in Canberra. We returned with 8 golds, 6 silvers and a bronze. The outstanding results demonstrate our status as one of the leading Taekwondo centres in Australia. As we continue to enjoy success in Queensland and interstate, we are determined to cultivate more talent through our Saturday development program so that we could go international.
Thank you coaching staff. You are the best in the country. Thank you to everyone who travelled to very cold Canberra to support our athletes. Your presence alone was a major lift for our players, and to the rest of you who stayed behind but cheered for our success.
Upcoming events
We are working hard in preparation for STAQ - Queensland Open and New Zealand Open both of which are taking place in March 2012. We are eager to see our up and coming juniors perform in their respective discipline; Gyeorugi (sparring) or Poomsae. As well, we have several senior students who will compete for the first time (or first time in many years).

Player Development Program for 2012
Following our success in competitions, we have now implemented a newly developed training program that is proving to be a big challenge for all participants both physically and mentally. This program is designed to cater for those who aim to someday represent Australia in major international events such as the Olympics. We realise this is an ambitious endeavour but we also believe it is not out of our reach. 2012 will be an exciting year.
